I had a loveky french Rose Wine and a Delicious Taco Salad with street corn. they were very busy but staff was attentive. Cute indoor/outdoor Cali Vibe.
First time visiting this place from out of town. Overall good experience. Good customer service and good food. Not great food but good food. Prices are discounted on entrees Monday nights, so arguably the best night to try it!
I have to remove a full star simply because this place labels itself as a "cocktail bar" on Google, but in order to be a proper cocktail bar, your drinks better be stellar and properly made and served in proper glassware worthy of the drink you ordered, not served in a beer glass. This place is just not a cocktail bar, I'm sorry. The lavender cocktail was the best of the four tried though.
I do recommend, but would order beer next time!
Food has great presentation, waitress we had was hilarious and fun and attentive, and the place has really cool decor and murals! Collectively we tried probably half the brunch menu (and drinks). Highly recommend!
I’m a local here in town, but I always love stopping into Caleb & Broad. Especially, since the new chef has returned along with $12.00 entree Mondays! (This is how I met my husband on a Monday like this).
We split the “Chicken Parm Dip” to start. So so so good! I got the “Grilled Swordfish” as my entree and my husband got “Ribeye” it was so good - I even had a few bites 😍.
Our waitress was so friendly and the owner is always welcoming. Hats off to the chef as well.
A nice small place for a quick bite and some great drinks. Awesome waitress at the bar. She gave me great advice on what to order. Very clean restaurant and restroom. A few TV screens to watch sports .opening at 9 am for the st pats parade on Saturday the 12 th of march 2023. Be there to support local people.
Stopped in for just an appetizer, ended up ordering dinner and coming back the next day for brunch! Service was great, fun music, awesome art on the walls, great vibe all together! The cornbread is out of this world, and the skillet cookie will put a big smile on your face. Can't wait for our next trip to Newport so we can come back to Caleb and Broad!
Was looking for a place to have a quick bite. Loved that they had plenty of creative small plate options. The beef tacos were unbelievable! The best dish I had in Newport. Vibe and drinks were great.
The flatbread was delicious, but I don’t have a photo of it. Nice restaurant and our server was pleasant. Would definitely go back for lunch or dinner!
